MKIV Motorised Dispenser

For trouble free application even at the highest wrapping speeds!

Available for dispensing tear tape from the larger 152mm jumbo core, as well as the smaller 29mm bobbin, the MKIV is easily retro-fitted to high speed wrapping machines, with either stop/start or continuous operation. Tear tape is dispensed in the unwind direction of the film and is guided over vertically configured rollers to the positioning roller and onto the film. A reservoir of tape is held between the upper and lower rollers, ready for initial machine demand. This eliminates over-stretching or build-up of loose tape.

Dispenser tension is adjusted to suit the wrapping film, giving excellent lay-flat appearance on the pack.Equipped with end-of-reel signal facility, a signal is sent to automatically stop the machine when the tape runs out.

The MKIV can be supplied with brackets for mounting to most types of wrapping machines. A dedicated team of sales engineers is available for equipment design, installation and maintenance.

Mini MB29 and MB29 Bobbin Dispenser

The MB29 range of dispensers is designed for use with tear tape supplied on 29mm core size (inside diameter).and is compatible with most types of wrapping machines.

The dispensers respond well to wrapping machines with either stop-start or continuous operation. A store of tear tape is held between the upper and lower rollers ready for initial take-up, preventing overstretching or build-up of loose tape. Tension is adjusted to suit the wrapping film, giving excellent lay-flat and pack appearance. Equipped for easy unwind using block and tackle principle, for smooth operation. Equipped with brake control on the main shaft, giving additional control and preventing overdispensing. Tear tape travels freely and smoothly along the positioning rollers without twisting. Supplied with brackets for mounting to most types of wrapping machines.

HSD High Speed Dispensers

The HSD dispenser is designed for high-speed applications. It is easily retro-fitted onto shrink sleeve and envelope production machines and applies Supastrip® and Rippatape™ on to the packaging material.

One of the key features of the HSD is instant start which prevents overstretching and build-up of loose tear tape. Additionally adjustable tension control prevents puckering on the film. Indicator lights supply end of reel information to the operator preventing packs being wrapped without tear tape.

Various tear tape widths can be applied without changing the rollers. The HSD dispenser works well with a stop/start or continuous operation. Demand from the production machine controls its speed whilst temporary production stoppages cause the reel to slow down.
