The Technology Centre, located at our Divisional Headquarters in Nottingham, is a world-class facility providing the quality of environment and the equipment necessary to drive the Coated & Security Products businesses forward.

In 2010 Filtrona’s Coated & Security Products Division underlined its commitment to Payne and Payne Security with an extensive expansion and modernisation of the Technology Centre. This new facility is now home to our Central Development team which has responsibility for creating new products, capabilities and markets, and our Technical Services team, which offers ongoing product support for our existing product portfolio.

Equipment within the Technology Centre includes a temperature and humidity controlled analytical room and also an engineering room for work on proprietary systems and reading devices, such as those used in Payne Security's authentication technologies.
